Extend the Lifespan of Your Knives

The sharpness and lifespan of a knife can be affected by its maintenance. Please refer to the following precautions.

1

Both carbon steel and stainless steel are metals. After use, wash with a neutral detergent and thoroughly dry the knife with a clean cloth or towel to prevent water residue from causing rust. Store in a low-humidity area.

2

Minimize the time your knives are wet while cooking and wipe them dry immediately after use.

3

Do not use a dishwasher or dryer to prevent rusting.

4

Handle with care — the impact of dropping the knife on the floor or into the sink may cause the blade to chip or break.

5

Do not cut frozen foods to avoid chipping or breaking the blade.

6

When cutting hard foods (such as pumpkin, corn, or rice cakes), using excessive force to push the blade may cause it to chip or break.

7

Keep out of reach of children.

8

Do not use for any purpose other than cooking.
